NITI Aayog Registration (NGO DARPAN Registration)
NITI Aayog Registration is a mandatory process for Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Voluntary Organizations (VOs) in India to establish their presence and avail benefits from the government. This registration is conducted through the NGO DARPAN Portal, which is managed by NITI Aayog in partnership with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).

- To create a database of NGOs and VOs across India.

Eligibility for NITI Aayog Registration
- NGOs/VOs: Registered under:
- Societies Registration Act, 1860
- Indian Trusts Act, 1882
- Companies Act, 2013 (Section 8 companies)
- Must have a valid PAN card and bank account in the name of the organization.
Documents Required
- NGO Registration Certificate
- PAN Card of the NGO
- Aadhaar Card of one of the office bearers (President/Secretary/Treasurer)
- Details of Governing Body Members, including their:
- Name
- Designation
- Aadhaar Number
- Bank Details of the NGO, including:
- Account Number
- Bank Name
- IFSC Code
Steps for NITI Aayog (DARPAN) Registration

Visit the NGO DARPAN Portal: Go to the official website: https://ngodarpan.gov.in.

Create an Account:
- Click on "Sign Up".
- Provide your organization’s email ID and mobile number.

Login to the Portal: Use the credentials sent to your email for login.

Fill the Application Form:
- Provide details about the NGO (Name, Address, PAN, Registration Number, etc.).
- Fill in details about the governing body members.

Upload Required Documents:
- Ensure the documents are in the prescribed format and size.

Submit the Application: After verification, submit the application.

Verification Process:
- The information and documents are reviewed by the concerned authorities.
- Upon approval, a Unique ID is generated for your NGO.
